Grand Central Holiday Fair Fills Vanderbilt Hall With Artisan Booths
Free to enter and fully indoors, the fair fills Vanderbilt Hall with handmade jewelry, felted ornaments and blown glass from Nov 9 to Dec 24, steps from the 42nd Street subway.
🛍️ What You Can Buy This Year
Entry is free: the Holiday Fair sells no ticket and charges no admission, and the only money you spend is what you hand the makers. From November 9 through December 24 the fair fills Vanderbilt Hall, just off the Main Concourse, with a 6,000-square-foot indoor market.
The 2026 vendor directory lists gifts you can wrap: Craftspring's hand-felted ornaments and decorations, The Glass Haus's hand-blown glass ornaments, Rachel Reinhardt Jewelry's semi-precious pieces, and LoveThyBeast's pet sweaters and locally baked treats. Elsewhere in the hall you will find hand-thrown pottery and original art, collectible pens made from reclaimed city materials, handmade soaps, oils and candles, leather goods and handbags, and one-off fine jewelry.
The fair closes on Thanksgiving Day. Through December 16 hours are 10 AM–7 PM Monday to Saturday and 11 AM–6 PM Sunday, then 10 AM–8 PM December 17–23, and 10 AM–6 PM on Christmas Eve. The fair's own listing gives weekday hours two ways, so confirm the day you plan to shop.
