Description

Just outside the South Entrance of Grand Canyon National Park in Tusayan, this former National Geographic Visitor Center houses a six-story giant-screen theater equipped with IMAX with Laser and 12-channel sound. The screening centres on a historic recreation of explorers and indigenous people rather than a pure landscape reel, occasionally requiring viewers prone to motion sickness to close their eyes. Beyond the auditorium, the building holds an adventure store, Explorer’s Café, park pass sales, maps, brochures, and tour bookings.
