Started on a 110° Texas afternoon with a folding table and a busted ice shaver, Gorilla Shaved Ice built its reputation on fluffy snow and outsized portions, headlined by the 60 oz King Kong challenge. The counter balances sweet cups with savory street snacks, turning out Tostilocos, mangonadas, and elote. Outside, the yard is strung with lights and regularly hosts visiting food trucks.
