Description

Set at the corner of Ashland Avenue and Virgil Street, the park took shape through a pandemic-era effort to clear away invasive overgrowth and rubbish. Neighbors shaped the project through volunteer planning meetings and vision boards hung in the park for neighborhood input. Today, the grounds serve as a thoughtfully landscaped, sustainable space where neighbors and visitors gather, reclaimed step by step by the surrounding community.
