Goodan Ranch

Set across 325 acres within the broader preserve, the land encompasses grassland, riparian corridors, and chaparral. More than 10 miles of trails lead past expansive vistas, wildlife, and centuries-old traces of human use, including routes like Martha’s Grove that splinter in several directions. On-site facilities include an outdoor amphitheater, picnic spots, and a horse trough and hitching post. Beside the site of the original ranch house destroyed in the 2003 Cedar Fire, the LEED-certified Goodan Ranch Center houses energy-efficient exhibit and demonstration spaces.
