A 1907 Arts & Crafts stone inglenook tucked in Balboa Park, complete with rock double stairways and radiating trails.
Description

Long before Balboa Park's center held anything but chaparral, this corner was developed and largely financed by nearby residents. Though listed on the National Register as a fountain, the spot is arranged with benches and stone walls. It was designed by architect Henry Lord Gay, best known in town for the Western Metal Supply Company Building that now stands inside Petco Park.
