Golden Gardens Park

Beyond the shoreline, the park combines coastal wetlands and hiking trails with open recreation. Out on the water, active sea lions and seals frequently surface near the beach, giving walkers and swimmers an easy vantage point. The grounds also host picnic areas with barbecue grills, a children's playground, volleyball courts, and a marina, while serving as a place to jump onto the Burke trail. At low tide, the exposed sand opens up wide stretches for running dogs or taking a dip.
