Global Family Style Plates in an Arts District Space
Share vegetables and meat with international twists on Mateo Street.
🍽️ Pass the Plates
Make Mateo Street the meeting point for an Arts District dinner with everyone around the table. Girl and the Goat Los Angeles is the West Coast outpost of Chef Izard and the Chicago restaurant, bringing an international approach to a sprawling industrial space.
The kitchen moves between vegetables and meat, with playful culinary twists running through the menu. Its plates are served family style, and sharing gives the table a reason to compare appetites before ordering. Cocktails are also part of the offering, alongside the food. Let a group meal take shape around that balance, with conversation carrying from one plate to the next.
Dinner runs from 5 PM to half past nine PM Sunday through Tuesday and from 5 PM to 10 PM Wednesday through Saturday, with an additional 10 AM to 2 PM service on Saturday and Sunday.
