Description

The museum opened in March 2010 inside a building once known as Hockemeyer Hall, following renovations completed by the GAHF after acquiring the property in 2008. Located on 6th Street NW, it stands in the heart of the old European-American section of Washington, set within what is now a thriving commercial neighborhood.
