Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre

Built in 1917 by the Shuberts and designed by Herbert Krapp, the playhouse was originally named the Plymouth before its renaming in 2005. Today, it hosts major theatrical productions that often feature big-name leads and works by diverse playwrights. Inside, the two-level space retains an antique look. While theatregoers note that the seats are really tiny, they also report that you can see the stage clearly from every spot. Children under four are not admitted.
