Emory’s athletic hub pairs an Olympic-size pool and climbing wall with courts that once hosted Olympic training.
Description

Operating on campus since 1983, the complex serves as the base for Emory Recreation & Wellness and Intercollegiate Athletics. The facility balances everyday student use with major civic and collegiate gatherings, having hosted NCAA championship athletic events alongside presidential addresses and President Carter’s annual Town Hall. Daily programming extends to credit and non-credit instructional classes, personal training, and intramural sports, with the venue also supporting adaptive sporting meets like the Georgia State Special Olympics and the National Veterans' Wheelchair Games.
