Description

Acquired in 1971, the park takes its name from Melvin Clark George, a state senator, U.S. congressman, and local judge who settled in Oregon after traveling the Old Oregon Trail in 1851. On the grounds, the playground is equipped with a ramp, a transfer station, and engineered mulch, complemented by an accessible picnic table set along the paved pathways.
