Description

Acquired in 1903 and named for pioneer printer and Oregon Historical Society curator George Himes, this 35.97-acre Hillsdale natural area features a mix of paved paths, dirt routes, and picnic tables. Alongside neighborhood walks, the terrain serves as a fitness cut-through linking Terwilliger Boulevard to Corbett, while runners string together short trail loops with reasonable climbing sheltered from the surrounding streets.
