Description

Set at the eastern end of Allegheny Avenue, this updated riverfront stretch connects to a paved walking and bike path right along the water. Vantage points look out across the Delaware River as freighter ships, tankers, and barges ply the water, while a neighboring pier currently hosts an eagle's nest. It remains a longtime neighborhood escape from city noise, though the immediate surroundings include industrial truck traffic alongside a small parking lot prone to crowding.
