Description

Setting out along the southern edge of Calico Basin in Red Rock Canyon, the trail takes on a noticeable opening climb before winding across gravelly foothills and shallow washes. Along the way, the open desert opens up sightlines toward Turtlehead Peak, the Spring Mountains, and Summerlin spreading to the east. The path ultimately meets the Kraft Mountain Loop, functioning as a practical link for longer circuits or a straightforward standalone outing.
