Part of the Staten Island Gateway National Recreation Area, this space behaves more like a harbor beach than a traditional green park. Trails connect directly to Hyland Boulevard, giving walkers a clear view of the harbor's sailboats, while a dedicated dock provides boat access directly to the site. Beyond the waterfront, the park features playgrounds and hosts public astronomy nights.
