Description

Maintained by the Garland Landmark Society and supported by volunteer staff, the museum chronicles the area's development from a small settlement into a bustling city. Its collection centers on the period from 1850 to the present, drawing on donated regional archives, historical photographs, and everyday household artifacts across permanent and rotating displays. An interactive Hands on History space adds tactile exploration to the timeline, letting visitors handle fossils, typewriters, and telephones.
