Gantry Plaza State Park

Walk along the winding paths and four piers to see the centerpiece structures up close. Once used to load and unload railcar floats and barges, these monuments now serve as a stage for plaza concerts in the spring and summer. The park supports active recreation with basketball, handball, and sand volleyball courts, alongside a fishing pier with its own cleaning table. For a quieter visit, bypass the busier northern end; the bottom half of the park is largely empty and peaceful.
