Acquired by the city in 1950, Gabriel Park balances everyday neighborhood amenities with roughly 30 acres of natural area. Paved paths connect an inclusive playground, a 10,000-square-foot skatepark, sand volleyball, and a community garden and orchard beside the community center. The surrounding grounds also shelter a pollinator meadow, a dedicated nature patch, and a free-flowing section of Vermont Creek.
