Along the slender green space, benches offer quiet spots to sit and observe the neighborhood. Walkways wind past patches of flowers and a historic statue commemorating the park's namesake, though walkers should mind the uneven, bumpy paths. While it is a relaxing daytime destination, the park lacks lighting after dark, making it very dim once the sun goes down.
