Fryman Canyon Park

Accessed from the Nancy Hoover Pohl Overlook off Mulholland Drive, this 122-acre park is filled with native chaparral, year-round springs, and deeply wooded canyons. Alongside a 3-mile loop and a fitness course, the grounds link into a broader park network: the Betty B. Dearing Cross Mountain Trail traverses the terrain to connect directly with Wilacre Park, Franklin Canyon, and Coldwater Canyon Park. Routes are open to hikers, equestrians, and leashed dogs, though mountain bikes are prohibited on the Dearing Trail.
