From Orlando's Hotels to the Clear Water of Silver Springs
A small-group van day from five fixed Orlando pickup stops to Silver Springs State Park, with park entry included, about three and a half hours on the grounds and an optional 30-minute glass-bottom boat ride.
This is a small-group van day out of Orlando to Silver Springs State Park, the spring-fed head of the Silver River just east of Ocala. Jupiter Legend Corporation runs it on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The van collects guests at five fixed stops between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, and the whole day runs about eight and a half hours door to door, with roughly three and a half of them inside the park.
Park entry is part of the booking. Almost everything you might do once inside is a choice, and most of it is paid for on the spot.

The booking comes in two versions. Transportation Only covers the van, the guide-driver and park entry. The glass-bottom boat version adds a ticket for the 30-minute boat ride. Kayaks, canoes and paddleboards are in neither version and are rented at the park.
Both versions leave from the same stops at the same times.

The park's glass-bottom boat page says these boats have carried visitors since the 1870s and that the glass-bottom boat was invented at Silver Springs. The 30-minute ride crosses Mammoth Spring, the river's head spring, and other feeder springs, with fish, old Native American and Spanish artifacts and props from the park's Hollywood years visible through the floor.
The same page says the boats often sell out and holds back only a limited number of walk-in seats each day. If the boat is the part you came for, book the version that already holds the ticket. Food is not allowed on board, though a drink in a container with a lid is fine.
Three and a Half Hours on the Grounds, With No Swimming

Free time covers the rest of the visit. The park lists hiking trails from under a mile up to a five-mile loop, and the paved North Silver Trail starts by the ticket booth and runs around the head spring and along the upper river. Rental kayaks, canoes and paddleboards go out on one- or two-hour out-and-back paddles, and every paddler needs a valid photo ID.
Swimming is not permitted at Silver Springs, so plan on seeing the water from a boat, a kayak or the bank. The park's wildlife page lists manatees among the river's residents, alongside alligators, turtles and many kinds of fish. A sighting is not part of what you buy.
Five Pickup Stops, and a Message Due Three Days Out
The van runs a fixed loop each morning: Nike Factory Store at 8:00, Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort at 8:15, Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando Lake Buena Vista at 8:30, Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort at 8:45 and DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld at 9:00. Drop-off is at the stop you boarded.
Tell the operator which stop you want at least three days before the trip. If it hears nothing, it assigns the 9:00 AM DoubleTree stop at 10100 International Drive. Be there five to ten minutes early with a photo ID and a phone that works, because the guide waits no more than ten minutes past the announced time. Children under 6 may need a booster seat in the vans, and the operator asks to be told in advance.
What Still Costs Money on the Day
Meals, rentals, a boat ticket on the Transportation Only version and the guide's tip are all extra. The listing suggests 15 to 20 percent for the tip and says cash is needed for some tickets and shops, so carry some. The park is open every day from 8 AM to sundown, holidays included.
Anyone under 18 needs an adult along, and pregnant travelers can join if they are under 24 weeks by the end of the trip. The listing marks the day as suitable for all fitness levels, while the boat page asks riders to manage stairsteps and sloped ramps. Only one of the nine boats, the Chief Potackee, takes wheelchairs, and wind can take it out of service. Pets are not allowed in the van.
📍 The map pin marks Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort at 6550 Adventure Way, the 8:45 AM stop and one of the five pickup points. The tour itself goes to Silver Springs State Park, whose main entrance is at 5656 East Silver Springs Boulevard in Silver Springs.
Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund. The operator can also call the day off for weather or too few travelers. Otherwise it is the van north in the morning and an afternoon on the Silver River.
