From Old Town Scottsdale Into Three Valley Brewhouses
Three and a half hours in a branded van, with a Beer Guide driving you to three breweries, pouring up to twelve tastings and taking you behind the brewhouse.
City Brew Tours Phoenix picks you up in front of the Home2 Suites in Old Town Scottsdale and spends the next three and a half hours driving between three breweries around the Valley. The operator's own page sums it up: you taste up to twelve craft beers while an expert Beer Guide does the driving.
The booking calendar sells Thursday evenings at 5:30 PM and Friday through Sunday at 1:00 PM and 5:30 PM. That reading is from November 4, 2026, and plenty of individual slots were already closed, so check the date you want before you plan around it.

The booking includes up to 12 craft beer tastings, a snack, the air-conditioned van, the Beer Guide and some City Brew Tours swag; the operator's page describes it as a souvenir lanyard with a tasting wheel. Meals and gratuities are not included, and the van does not do custom pickups.
Scottsdale Brew Tour: 12 Beer Tasters & VIP Access at 3 BreweriesThursday to Sunday from Old Town Scottsdale. 3.5 hours, three breweries, up to 12 tastings, ages 21 and over.www.viator.comThe Brewery List Is a Sample Itinerary

The listing does not name the breweries. The operator publishes a sample instead.
For Thursday through Sunday it lists Catalyst Crafted Ales, Fate Brewing Scottsdale and Tombstone Brewing Company, with The Shop Beer Co as an alternate. For the 1:00 PM weekend departure it lists The Shop Beer Co, Catalyst Crafted Ales and Fate Brewing Scottsdale, with Greenwood Brewing as the alternate.
Travelers in 2023 named Walter Station among their three stops, so the lineup does change. Treat any single brewery name as likely, and book for the format: three breweries, one van, one guide.
Behind the Tanks, With the Guide Choosing the Pours

The listing title promises VIP access at three breweries, and recent riders describe exactly that. One wrote in October 2026: "We visited 3 brew pubs and tasted a wide variety of beers. We also went behind the scenes and were shown the mechanics of the actual brewing process."
You do not pick the beers. The operator's FAQ says each stop brings a handpicked selection chosen by the guide. If beer is not your drink, a rider in September 2026 wrote that the guide found ciders and sweet sours for his wife. The operator also notes that beer is typically not gluten-free and that gluten-free options at the stops come and go.
The snack is a snack. The listing says the tour does not include a full meal, so eat before you board.
Twenty-One, a Valid ID and Closed-Toe Shoes
Every guest must be 21 or older, with no exceptions. US citizens need a non-expired state ID, and travelers from abroad need a passport.
Closed-toe flat shoes are required, because the breweries themselves enforce it, and the operator says it cannot make exceptions. Plan for that in the summer heat.
The listing also says anyone who shows up visibly intoxicated will be turned away without a refund, and it does not recommend the tour for pregnant travelers.
The operator's FAQ notes that many stops are wheelchair accessible, but the shared van can carry a folding wheelchair only on private tours. The listing otherwise rates the tour as suitable for all fitness levels.
Fourteen Seats, a Four-Guest Minimum and the 24-Hour Line
The shared van holds up to 14 guests, and one booking can cover up to 10.
The operator needs at least four participants to run a departure. The listing warns that a confirmed tour can still be cancelled for low numbers or bad weather, and in that case you are offered another date or a full refund.
You get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before departure, and nothing inside 24 hours. Gratuities are not part of this booking; the operator suggests tipping about 15 dollars per person if your guide did a great job. Tell the operator about dietary restrictions or allergies ahead of the tour.
📍 The van picks up in front of the Home2 Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town at 3131 N Scottsdale Rd. The map pin marks the Rodeway Inn Old Town Scottsdale at 2934 N Scottsdale Rd, about 200 meters south on the same road, because the Home2 Suites is not yet in the map database. Arrive 15 minutes early.
The operator asks guests not to drive. If your group has a designated driver, the operator points to free street parking on Earll Dr beside the hotel or on N 73rd St south of Earll Dr.
Three and a half hours and three brewhouses later, the van drops you back where you started, in Old Town Scottsdale.
