From Muir Woods Redwoods to Three Wine Country Tasting Rooms
An hour under the Muir Woods redwoods, then three wine tastings across Napa and Sonoma, with hotel pickup in San Francisco.
The day splits in two. The morning is an hour on foot among coast redwoods at Muir Woods. The afternoon is wine country: three tastings across Napa and Sonoma, with a lunch stop on Sonoma Plaza in between.

One listing, three ways to book it: the tour with no lunch, the tour with Muir Woods entry added, or the tour with a three-course lunch paired with wine. The three tastings come with every version.
San Francisco Super Saver: Muir Woods & Wine Country w/ optional Gourmet LunchHotel pickup, an hour in Muir Woods, tasting fees at three Napa and Sonoma wineries, and a Golden Gate photo stop on the way back.www.viator.comOne Hour in Muir Woods, Entry Sold Separately

The bus gives Muir Woods one hour. Travelers who timed it say that covers the main loop with room for photos, and one found the paths were boardwalk or flat trail, easy enough in sandals. Another judged there was no time for a longer hike before the bus left. One traveler reported no phone signal in the woods, so note the meeting time before you walk off.
Entry is not in the base price. The park charges USD 15 per person aged 16 and over, and under-16s go in free. Pay at the gate, or book the version with entry added. The listing has no version that bundles entry with the lunch upgrade, so lunch bookers pay at the gate. One traveler who prepaid through the tour still stood in the same single line as everyone buying on the spot, and another wrote in June 2026 that they had assumed entry was included. An America the Beautiful pass covers it on its own, and Muir Woods is not among the national parks that add a separate non-resident fee.
Three Tastings, and the Wineries Can Change on the Day

Tasting fees at all three stops are covered. The listing names Ru Vango Winery in Napa, Mayo Family Winery in Glen Ellen and Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma, where it adds a complimentary olive oil tasting at The Olive Press. That puts one listed tasting in Napa and two in Sonoma Valley, and one traveler wished for more Napa.
The listing says wineries and stops can change depending on the day, and traveler accounts bear it out. A June 2026 group skipped Jacuzzi when it was hosting a wedding; an August group named Cline among its three. The order moves too: one group started at Mayo, another broke for lunch after its first tasting. Tastings require a valid ID showing you are 21 or older.
Lunch on Sonoma Plaza, Upgraded or Your Own Pick
The listing gives Sonoma Plaza 90 minutes, with cafés, tasting rooms and restaurants around the square, and City Hall, the Sonoma Barracks and the Bear Flag Revolt site to look at. Book without the upgrade and lunch is your own call; travelers say their guides pointed them to restaurants, and one even shared a list.
The upgrade is a seated three-course lunch with your group, a wine poured with each course. The menu posted with the listing starts with a cheese plate and sparkling wine, moves to white bean soup or a Caesar salad with Sauvignon Blanc, then a main from five choices with Pinot Noir. Gluten-free pasta is available on request, and tax and gratuity are included in the lunch price.
Time runs short here. Travelers on both paths wrote that the plaza stop felt tight, one who took the upgrade put it at an hour for three courses, and another suggested choosing a restaurant before arriving on a busy Saturday.
Families Bring Their Own Car Seat
Children travel on the child rate, which runs from birth to age 11 on this listing. Children under 8, or shorter than 4 feet 9 inches, need a child safety seat that the family brings along; the listing points to outside rental services for boosters. Tastings are 21 and over, and under-16s enter Muir Woods free.
The guide narrates in English. Free audio guides in Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Mandarin and Japanese run through an app. The listing asks you to download it before the day and bring a charged phone and earbuds; reception drops out on parts of the route.
The listing marks the tour suitable for all fitness levels and for strollers. The walking happens on the Muir Woods paths and around each winery's grounds.
📍 The listed meeting point is the east entrance of the Hilton San Francisco Union Square at 251 Mason Street, a 7:45 AM stop. The pickup table on the listing runs from 7:40 AM at the Hyatt Regency and the W on 3rd Street to 8:15 AM at three Lombard Street hotels, with the JW Marriott, the Hilton Financial District, the Fairmont and two Beach Street stops in between. The bus ends the day back at your pickup point.
Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund; after that, nothing comes back. Tips for the guide are not included.
On the way home the bus pulls into the Golden Gate Bridge's north Vista Point for a short stop, with the bridge, Alcatraz and the city skyline lined up across the water.
