Indoor Training, Outdoor Stops
Early and Late Training in Whitestone
Life Health & Fitness in Whitestone puts specialized Queenax functional-fitness equipment beside standard gear, indoor cycling, and group classes across a 20,000-square-foot facility. Strength work and classes can share one visit, with free parking and free towel service simplifying arrival. Recovery options include a sauna, steam rooms, massage services, and an on-site juice bar. Monday through Thursday hours run from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM, covering morning and evening workouts.

Open-Air Ship Watching
At 910 Main Street, a 1872 stone lighthouse anchors grassy waterfront grounds where visitors can picnic and watch passing ships. The park features the Nellie Bly monument and city views. Benches support quiet meditation, and open space accommodates group get-togethers. A free shuttle bus serves the park, while visitors can also walk from the tram. Restrooms are available on-site. Public hours run daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

West 64th After Dark
Josie Robertson Plaza puts public social dancing beside Lincoln Center’s Revson Fountain at 10 Lincoln Center Plaza. The summer program includes silent discos and performances around the outdoor dance floor. Daily choreographed water shows animate the fountain, while illuminated architecture shapes the evening setting. Theatergoers can use the plaza as a post-show hangout, and late hours bring peaceful solitude. The public space is open 24 hours every day.
