Music Across Two Moods

Broken Hearts and Grapes & Grains connect through live performance, but their settings give this West Loop pairing its contrast. The first draws on a Texas roadhouse, with country bands, line dancing and canned beer. The second evokes 1920s Chicago through Chesterfield sofas, vintage chandeliers and a baby grand piano. Food marks another difference, Broken Hearts serves none, while Grapes & Grains offers small plates alongside cocktails, whiskey and wine. The pairing moves from roadhouse character to piano lounge atmosphere.
