Gold detailing, arches, and chandeliers frame United Palace, a designated landmark built in 1930 as a Loew's Wonder Theatre. Thomas W. Lamb designed the venue, whose 3,000-seat auditorium now carries updated sound and projection. Riverside Recreation and Late Hours
The 160-acre park follows the Hudson River from West 155th Street to Dyckman Street. Its dual trail is shared by walkers, bikes, and stand-up scooters, with river views. Athletic fields, a playground, barbecue areas, and a dog park provide options away from the path. The Little Red Lighthouse stands beneath the George Washington Bridge. The grounds are open daily from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM. That schedule can fit a walk after the theater or pub.
