Description

A soaring lobby framed by a large visual display of natural vistas leads into sweeping galleries designed for both large-scale sculpture and wall-hung art, hosting exhibitions ranging from Ansel Adams to Justin Favela. Beyond gallery viewing, the center gathers science and education under one roof, housing classrooms, research labs, and the School of Botanical Art & Illustration. Between presentations in the well-tuned auditorium and quick breaks at the Copper Door coffee shop, an internal bridge links the building directly to the Boettcher Memorial Center.
