French Quarter Hauntings and Crime Scenes, Narrated in Your Pocket

A ghost tour and a true crime tour through the French Quarter's streets, played on your own phone within a seven-day window.

Nobody leads these two walks. You buy a Ghost Tour and a True Crime Tour together, open the operator's site in your phone browser and play each stop's audio yourself on the streets of the French Quarter. There is no guide, no group meeting and no set start time: each tour begins when you reach its first stop and press play.

The listing names no individual stops, only the French Quarter, and the operator keeps each route behind the password you receive after booking. Expect haunted stories, murder cases, scandals and mysteries, all heard from outside.

What you buy is access. After checkout you return to the operator's site, choose English and then the New Orleans two-tour bundle, and fill in a short form that checks your booking and issues the passwords. One password covers as many phones as tickets bought, and the operator says you can unlock it from anywhere. Access lasts seven days after activation, and one booking takes up to fifteen travelers.

Two Tours on One Booking, Ghosts and True Crime

The bundle pairs two separate audio walks, a New Orleans Ghost Tour and a New Orleans True Crime Tour. The operator's bundle page gives each one its own password box, and between them the listing promises haunted stories, murder cases, scandals, mysteries and dark local history.

The operator describes its True Crime route as one that maps real locations through the French Quarter and the historic streets around it, without sending you miles out of the city. The two do not have to share a day. The operator's FAQ says a tour can be paused and finished later, and the seven-day window leaves room for a second outing.

Outdoors Only, From the First Stop to the Last

Both tours stay on the street. The listing includes no admission into any buildings, cemeteries, museums, bars or paid attractions, and the operator's FAQ says entry into any location is not included or guaranteed.

Transportation is not included either. Walking into a bar or a shop along the way is your own visit, separate from the tour.

A Charged Phone and Data for Everyone

Each person plays the tours on their own internet-connected phone, in the phone's browser, with no app to download. Bring a charged phone with data for everyone: the operator says the tours need a connection the entire time, and there is no staff at any location.

  • Bring headphones along. The operator strongly recommends them, and the phone speaker works too.
  • Google Maps links lead you from stop to stop, and the operator recommends taking the stops in order.
  • Passwords are case-sensitive. When one fails, re-entering your details on the password page returns the same password.
  • Keep both passwords where you can copy them. In its public replies to reviews, the operator says the page asks for the password again whenever it is closed, refreshed or exited, and that a refresh is sometimes needed when an audio clip does not load.

Unlock both tours before you walk to the Quarter. Viator reviews of the operator's audio tours in other cities include complaints from travelers who could not get the audio going, or who went to the starting address expecting someone to check them in. The operator's reply to one such review is plain: there is no staff check-in at any location.

100 to 160 Minutes for Both Tours, No Refunds

The listing allows 100 to 160 minutes for the two tours together. The operator's FAQ, written for all its cities, puts most single tours at about an hour to an hour and a half depending on pace.

All sales are final, on this listing and in the operator's own FAQ, and a change of plans does not bring the money back. Support runs by email, and the operator warns that replies can take several days.

The listing ticks the standard wheelchair and stroller boxes, while the operator's FAQ does not address access. Children 12 and under have their own ticket type, and the booking has to be made by an adult.

There is no meeting point to find before you buy. The listing places the start in the French Quarter, and the exact first stop appears once a tour is unlocked: open its first Google Maps link, walk there and press play when you arrive. With seven days of access, the second tour can wait for another day in the Quarter.
