Four US College Events, From Boston to the Bronx This Fall
School spirit at four US campuses, from Labor Day parties in Boston to a fall Saturday in the Bronx.
Boston, Loretta's then Alumni Stadium
BU's Class of 2027 runs a back-to-school pass that strings together Fenway day parties, neighborhood bar takeovers, and late nightclub sets, with Loretta's Last Call in the mix. It plays like a senior sprint into the year rather than a quiet welcome. Pace yourself across the week.
Across the river in Chestnut Hill, Alumni Stadium hosts an ACC versus Big Ten showdown when the Eagles take on Rutgers. Get there early for the student section, and plan the ride back before the fourth quarter empties out.
New York, Pace Plaza and the Bronx
At Pace, the activities fair packs 1 Pace Plaza Gym with close to 100 clubs, sororities, and fraternities in one afternoon, and admission is free with free merch on the way out. Talk to the organization leaders, not just the sign-up sheets, and you will leave with a shortlist worth actually joining.
Up in the Bronx, Fordham turns Family Weekend into a full campus stretch of football, Mass, and student performances, with the university handing out tips for exploring the neighborhood. Bring the family, then keep the afternoon open for the Belmont blocks nearby.
Before you go
Ticketing and access differ by campus, and only the Pace activities fair is free for enrolled students without a ticket. The BU pass, the Boston College game, and Fordham Family Weekend each sell tickets or gate entry. Confirm the organizer and your student status before you travel.
