Fort Washington State Park office
4.6 (5)park
An information hub for 493 acres of hiking, disc golf, and hawk watching set on George Washington’s former encampment.
Description

The office serves as the administrative center for the surrounding park, set on grounds notable for George Washington’s Continental Army, which maintained a temporary encampment here prior to the Battle of White Marsh before heading to Valley Forge. Across the property, the park pairs its Revolutionary history with outdoor spaces that include picnic spots and an observation deck built for seasonal raptor migration viewing.
