Description

Built on 450-million-year-old Manhattan schist, the park rises nearly 300 feet, creating a rugged, multilevel terrain of sparkling rock formations. Paved pathways wind past the Alpine and Broadway Greeting Gardens, connecting playgrounds, fitness spaces, and a restaurant. At the northern end, the paths lead to The Cloisters museum, while Linden Terrace offers a distinct vantage point over the Palisades.
