Description

The grounds stand as one of the oldest active military sites in Texas, notably recognized as the place where Apache leader Geronimo was briefly held. Alongside that history, visitors encounter wildlife accustomed to human presence, where tame animals tolerate close contact while the peacocks keep a watchful distance.
