Fort DeRussy Beach Park
4.6 (5,916)park
Wide, banyan-shaded lawns meet calm, reef-sheltered waters at this spacious green stretch of Waikiki beach.
Description

Set along Kālia Road, the park provides an uncrowded counterweight to the adjacent resort strip. Walking paths cut past picnic spots and mature palms toward open ocean views, while the shallow waters offer an easy entry for snorkeling and stand-up paddleboarding. Coast artillery history remains anchored in the landscape as well, with the grounds hosting the U.S. Army Museum of Hawaii inside former Battery Randolph.
