Forrest Theatre

Still owned and operated by the Shubert Organization, the Forrest has staged hundreds of productions since opening in 1927. Its repertoire stretches beyond mainstream musicals and dramas, having historically presented Yiddish theatre, dance programs, Gilbert & Sullivan productions, and the Philadelphia Orchestra. While attendees consistently praise the venue's touring productions, seating can feel compact inside the historic auditorium.
