Managed by the Forest Preserves of Cook County, this preserve brings together woodland, savanna, and floodplain ecosystems in the Chicago area. It opens onto the North Branch Trail System, serving as a setting for hiking, bird watching, and experiencing native wildlife. Alongside the unpaved paths, the grounds also feature an event grove accommodating up to 300 people.
