Foothills Park
4.7 (556)park
Basalt columns engraved with poetry meet sweeping river views at this nine-acre park along the Willamette.
Description

Built in 2005 on former industrial riverfront property, the park unfolds along the water through a series of dedicated gathering points. Scenery opens from a covered cantilevered platform, paired with the ring of Stafford Stones etched with poetry by William Stafford. The setting also features a timber and stone picnic pavilion with a stone fireplace, a grass amphitheater hosting Wednesday evening concerts in July, and the Lake Oswego Veterans Memorial honoring U.S. military veterans and first responders.
