Fletcher Field

Flanked by the university tennis courts, the grounds center on an athletic diamond with a dusty, sandy infield and an uneven, patchy outfield. A short right field and low backstop lend games an unvarnished edge, with foul balls occasionally bouncing out into road traffic. Maintained in strictly functional shape, the turf sees its steadiest day-to-day use outside of sports, serving neighbourhood dog owners and pedestrians cutting diagonally across toward the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
