Description

Founded in 1898 by graphic artist and industrialist Samuel S. Fleisher, the institution was established to make art accessible to everyone. Its home is a historic complex anchored by the Sanctuary, known for its medieval and Renaissance-style murals and mosaics. Alongside hands-on workshops, the center extends into the surrounding neighborhood through community-based public art programs.
