🛶 Lessons Beyond the Race

Let a long lunch be the moment you plan your next stretch on the water. Seattle Canoe and Kayak Club sits on the southwest shore of Green Lake, bringing Olympic style flatwater racing together with community paddling. This nonprofit runs youth sprint teams alongside adult classes for competitive athletes and people who simply enjoy getting afloat.

Adult membership bundles all adult instruction with use of club boats on the lake. It also includes access to kayak and canoe ergs, bringing a training option into the mix alongside time on the water. Annual membership costs 395 dollars, while the July through December option costs 220 dollars.

Individual registration is available for classes, another way to approach the club when you are weighing a single course against membership. Keep 5900 West Green Lake Way N in mind as you talk through the plan over lunch, with learning, training, and community as the starting points.
