Description

The Chicago River runs directly through the grounds, which hold baseball fields, tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court, and a playground with a spray pool.

Creative activity centers around the fieldhouse. In the Laura Wiley Theater, the resident Albany Park Theatre Project stages original plays drawn from local real-life stories. Along the exterior wall, a 45-foot ceramic tile mosaic crafted by local teens illustrates verses by children's poet Eugene Field, while community workshops range from oil painting and sewing to 3D printing.
