Description

Established in 1940 in northeast Portland's Concordia neighborhood—on land once rumored to be a dumping ground for stolen cars—Fernhill Park spans nearly 27 acres. The grounds gather sports fields, a running track, tennis or volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, a playground, an off-leash dog area, and a seasonal interactive splash pad. Further up, the hilltop nature patch established in 2020 introduces native plantings and wildlife habitat overlooking the space.
