Description
Fenway Studios took shape after a fire destroyed earlier artists' spaces on Columbus Avenue. The National Historic Landmark operates as a historic cooperative—the oldest purpose-built structure in the country constructed solely for working artists. Its spaces continue to house resident painters working in styles ranging from the traditional Boston School to abstract expressionism.
