Everything Urgent Quickly is Gone (The Orpheus Project)

Four centuries of music inspired by the Orpheus myth unfold in a sprawling experiment that brings together a large cast of singers, actors, musicians, and designers. Directed by Colter Schoenfish and conducted by Geoffrey McDonald with the Mannes Chamber Orchestra, the production is a collaboration between Mannes Opera and Constructed Environments at Parsons School of Design. Student makers and creators build the theatrical environment across two floors of a historic 1893 Romanesque Revival building, transforming Fifth Avenue space into a canvas where audiences move through the performance.
