Errol Heights Community Garden

Spanning 16,500 square feet in Brentwood-Darlington, the site serves as the park's central hub, focused on educating neighbors and altering habits to protect Errol Creek. Stewardship takes practical shape across the plots through winter cover cropping and mulching, techniques that improve the soil's water-holding capacity to provide sediment and erosion control and ease stormwater impact on the broader Johnson Creek watershed. Added vegetation also supports the ecosystem through air-filtering gas exchange, anchoring watershed protection in everyday soil care.
