Founded by lifelong horsewoman Laura Martin, the Goodlettsville farm pairs pours from select vintages with a hand-built spread of Southern cheeses and seasonal fruit. The centerpiece is the rescue herd itself—seven resident horses and a miniature donkey. Rather than an equestrian lesson, the encounter centers on no riding, only presence: visitors spend unhurried barn time grooming, feeding carrots, and learning each animal’s history in an easy, welcoming rhythm outside the city.
