Description

Set within Atlanta's Blue Heron Nature Preserve right off a busy residential pocket, the route delivers light hiking over varied up-and-down terrain. The path tracks a waterway that shifts from a thin trickle to a wide, dammed pool. Quirky branch trails veer off toward a compost garden and a large gazebo with tables for a picnic, while walkers regularly spot owls, hawks, eagles, and deer through the trees.
