Emerson Avenue Community Garden
4.4 (25)park
4.4 (25)A Westchester community haven pairing private plots with butterfly gardens, fruit trees, and hands-on workshops.
Description
The grounds extend into dedicated spaces featuring a pollinator and bee garden, native plants, and stations for both standard composting and vermi-composting. Master gardeners and volunteers steer the educational side with lessons on irrigation, pollination, plant life cycles, and pest management, while the calendar makes room for community gatherings like pancake breakfasts and seedling days.
