Elmhurst Playground With a Fire Engine Play Structure
Let kids climb a fire engine at an Elmhurst playground with a sprinkler, pickleball and basketball courts.
🚒 Fire Engine, Slides and Swings
Crowley Playground is a shaded Elmhurst playground where a fire engine play structure gives kids an obvious first stop. Swings and high slides surround the main climbing areas, and the wide open layout leaves plenty of room to run.
On warm days the sprinkler takes over, and the recently upgraded facilities keep the park clean and easy to settle into. In the evenings the courts stay active with basketball, squash and pickleball games, which gives older kids and adults their own reason to come along.
Picnic tables handle snacks and breaks, plenty of benches line the grounds, and restrooms are on site. The park sits along 57th Avenue between 82nd and 84th Streets by the Queens Midtown Expressway, with parking by the entrance. It is open daily from 6 AM to 9 PM, long enough for an early start or an after-dinner round on the courts.
