Description

The former processing station showcases how twelve million people were processed between 1892 and 1954. The presentation relies on detailed reading, as the exhibits are text-heavy rather than visual. Along with these historical accounts, the site features the American Immigrant Wall of Honor. Keep in mind the historic building is currently undergoing major refurbishment with several wing closures, meaning construction is ongoing and some galleries are temporarily inaccessible.
